I did the F1 Mod several months back and added the aftermarket paddle shifters last month. The F1 mod is great enough as is and the extended Paddle Shifters give more of an area to complete either the UP or the DOWN shift.

Installed the black paddles and completed the “F1 mod” in about an hour (Youtube videos as a guide are a big help).
Connecting the original male paddle base (don’t know it’s technical name) to the female paddle base of this kit was very tight. It felt like I might break something sliding them together to get the screw holes to line up. This part appears to be 3D printed – I only had to scratch at the corners within the female base with a small pick to remove some material/flash to make it easier to slide together (maybe this was a one-off case of bad luck). It’s really not a big deal and I wouldn’t call it a deal breaker. The paddles feel & look much better than stock and with the F1 mod it’s the perfect combo. I highly recommend this product.
